Nimal Ranjith (නිමල් රංජිත්) is a Sri Lankan singer who performs in Sinhala. He is known on Lyrics-lk for the ballad Hada Handana Nihanda Raye (හද හඬනා නිහඬ රැයේ), the title track of his 2014 album “Hada Handana”, which is also widely written as Hada Hadana Nihada Raye in its romanized form.
Ranjith’s recordings circulate across Sinhala music platforms, where his work is indexed under both the Hada Handana and Hada Hadana spellings. The 2014 album collects the songs Lyrics-lk hosts, including a softer, slow-tempo title track and the floral love song Suwada Rosa Mal Kakuli (also written Suwanda Rosa Mal Kakuli). Both songs are presented here with their Sinhala script, transliteration, and an English translation.
