Sachithra Senanayake (සචිත්ර සේනානායක, full name Senanayake Mudiyanselage Sachithra Madhushanka Senanayake, born 9 February 1985) is a Sri Lankan playback singer and former international cricketer who represented Sri Lanka across all three formats of the game. Better known to cricket fans as an off-spin bowler, he also built a small singing catalogue alongside his playing career.
Senanayake has been a student of the veteran musician Sanath Nandasiri since his school years, and he has said that his demanding cricket schedule kept him from pursuing music more fully during his playing days. His most visible early musical contribution was the cricket anthem Kirula Genemu, recorded with the band Centigradz ahead of the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
His first solo single, Watina Obage, was released in May 2016. He has also appeared on collaborative recordings, including Marathondi Dathe, a track he shares with Neo and Samitha Mudunkotuwa.
