Claude De Zoysa (also spelled Claude De Soysa) is a Sri Lankan singer, lyricist, and composer who works largely in the baila and Sinhala folk-song tradition. He is credited as both writer and tune composer on much of his catalogue, including the 2002 album Kiyala Wadak Na and a string of light, danceable Sinhala numbers.
De Zoysa’s recordings sit in the playful, melody-driven baila style that has long been a staple of Sri Lankan parties and radio. He has also recorded with backing groups such as Siha Shakthi, and in 2024 he featured alongside Anjalin Gunathilaka on the duet “Aayamma Kothana Giya”.
