Pramoth Ganearachchi (also spelled Pramod Ganearachchi) is a Sri Lankan singer and actor best known for his work on the Sangeethe teledrama, the TV Derana prime-time drama in which he both acted and recorded several of the show’s songs.
Ganearachchi came to wide notice through Sangeethe, the music-centred soap opera that premiered on TV Derana on 11 February 2019. He played Kalana, a band leader within the story, and his on-screen role overlapped with an off-screen one as a performing vocalist, contributing songs across the series and its later seasons.
His recordings extend beyond the show into independent singles, and his Sangeethe tracks circulate widely on streaming and Sri Lankan music platforms, where he is sometimes credited as Pramod Ganearachchi.
