Nimanthi Chamodani (also written Nimanthi Chamodini, නිමන්ති චමෝදනී) is a Sri Lankan playback and teledrama singer working in contemporary Sinhala popular music. She is best known for songs recorded for the long-running teledrama Deweni Inima, including Kalambee Hamana, and for romantic duets with other Sinhala vocalists.
Chamodani came to wider notice through television, where her voice has featured on teledrama soundtracks. Her recording of Kalambee Hamana for Deweni Inima is among her most circulated tracks and remains the song most listeners associate with her name. She also performs as a duet partner, most notably alongside Ruwan Kumara on the song Nolebena Obe, and has shared teledrama numbers with the singer MG Danushka.
Her catalogue mixes television-tied songs with standalone romantic singles such as Kahata Weli Thiraye and Oba Ahasa Une. Across these she stays in a soft, melodic register suited to the slow-tempo love songs that dominate Sinhala teledrama scoring.
