Thushara Jeewantha

Thushara Jeewantha (තුෂාර ජීවන්ත) is a Sri Lankan playback and stage singer who works in the contemporary Sinhala popular and love-song idiom. His recordings circulate widely on local music platforms, and his catalogue spans early-2000s albums through to a steady run of singles, placing him alongside Sinhala vocalists such as Ajith Muthukumarana and Sampath Anurudda.

Career and recordings

Thushara Jeewantha’s released work includes the albums Avihinsaka As and Pem Hagum, both issued in 2005, followed by a later body of singles. His songs are sentimental ballads built around themes of love, parting, and longing, the staple register of mainstream Sinhala romantic music, and they remain available across Sri Lankan streaming and download services.
