Vinod Alwis is a contemporary Sri Lankan playback and theme-song singer, known for performing Sinhala teledrama and film theme songs released across 2022 to 2026. His voice features on several popular television theme tracks, often in duets and ensemble recordings with other current vocalists.
Alwis works mainly in the modern Sinhala theme-song and single-release scene, recording for television dramas and films and issuing standalone singles on streaming platforms. His releases include theme songs for teledramas such as Dangale, Oba Nisa (Aladdin), and Sakuge Kathawa, alongside later singles like “Main Character” and “Nethata Mage”.
Many of his recordings are collaborations. He sang “Me Heene Payawi”, the theme of the teledrama Dangale, together with Upeka Nirmani, Sandeep Jayalath and Kaizer Kaiz. He has also recorded with Dilki Uresha on the Oba Nisa (Aladdin) theme.
