Hirushi Jayasena (also spelled Hirushi Jayasene) is a Sri Lankan recording artist and singer active across the contemporary Sinhala pop and collaboration scene. She records in Sinhala, Tamil, English and Hindi, and is best known to local listeners for the duet and feature tracks she has released over the past several years.
Hirushi Jayasena came to wider notice with “Kathirina” (කතිරිනා), a 2019 release she performed with Malindu Kirindegama, produced by Iraj. The song became one of her most recognised tracks and has circulated widely in both its original and remixed forms.
