Manjula Wickramaarachchi (also spelled Wickramarachchi) is a Sri Lankan playback and pop singer working in contemporary Sinhala music. His recordings circulate widely on Sri Lankan radio platforms and streaming services, and he is known for a string of romantic singles released through the 2010s.
Wickramaarachchi’s output sits in the modern Sinhala love-song tradition, built around clear melody and singable hooks. One of his most-played recordings, “Oba Ma Lagin”, was set to music by Dulip Mirando with lyrics by Sathsara Kasun Pathirana, and has drawn well over a hundred thousand plays across Sri Lankan music platforms. He also recorded the seasonal Avurudu number “Gammadde” as part of a larger ensemble of singers.
