Nishi Adhikari (also spelled Nishi Adikari) is a contemporary Sri Lankan vocalist who performs in Sinhala, known both for original singles and for cover versions circulated through YouTube and Sri Lankan music platforms.
Adhikari has been recording since at least 2015, when her single Yanna Giyath appeared on Hiru TV Music, with music by Chamath Sangeeth and words by Sajith V Chathuranga. She has continued releasing material into the 2020s, including the cover Hithata Hitha (හිතට හිත), recorded as a female version in collaboration with the singer Nuwan.
Her output mixes self-released originals with reinterpretations of established Sinhala songs, a path common to singers who build an audience through online video and streaming rather than the traditional radio and television route.
