Swarnalatha Kaweeshwara (ස්වර්ණලතා කවීෂ්වර; also romanized Swarnalatha Kavishwara or Kaveeshwara) is a Sri Lankan playback and stage singer whose recordings belong to the golden era of Sinhala light music. She is remembered for melodic, sentiment-led numbers such as Hanthana Sewane and Senehasa Bindunai that have stayed in circulation on Sinhala song collections and streaming platforms.
Kaweeshwara built a catalogue of Sinhala songs that streaming services later gathered onto compilations such as the album Golden Hits. Her work pairs gentle melodies with lyric writing in the classic Sinhala radio tradition; the song Hanthana Sewane (හන්තාන සෙවණේ), set to words by lyricist Mahinda Algam, is among the titles most often associated with her.
