Asanjaya Imashath is a contemporary Sri Lankan singer best known for the teledrama and cover songs he released in the late 2010s, including the popular Pemwathiye and the cover of Peradaka Mathakaye.
Asanjaya Imashath came to wider notice through songs connected to the Sinhala teledrama Sangeethe, recording Saththai Oya and Katath Wada Ihala alongside fellow singer Pramoth Ganearachchi, with music by Nimesh Kulasinghe.
His single Pemwathiye (පෙම්වතියේ) was released as an official lyric video, set to music by Dilshan L Silva with lyrics by Thilini Piyumali. On Peradaka Mathakaye he is credited not only as the singer but also as the composer and lyricist, one of the few releases where he handles all three roles.
