Gayan Sanka Madhu (ගයාන් සංඛ මධු, also written Gayan Sankamadhu) is a Sri Lankan singer and lyricist working in contemporary Sinhala popular music. He writes the words to the songs he performs, a singer-songwriter approach reflected across the small body of work catalogued under his name.
Madhu is credited as both singer and lyricist on each of his catalogued tracks, meaning the lyric and the vocal come from the same hand. His best known recording is Me Kamani (also titled “Me Kamani Nuba Hinda”), a Sinhala love song that circulated widely on Sri Lankan music download platforms and remains his most played title. The song “Sayuru Kone Hinda” has also been released through music distributors and is available as an official video.
