Nadith De Silva (also written Nadith de Silva) is a Sri Lankan singer, songwriter, and music producer who emerged in the 2010s with a blend of Sinhala pop and contemporary production. He began releasing music in 2011 through the AnnoyBoy production house and built a following with a string of singles aimed at a younger Sinhala audience.
De Silva is widely reported to have started out in 2011 with the music video “Hondai Machan”, followed by further singles across the early 2010s. His best known early releases include “Paana Sina” (2012) and “Sundara Mage Heene” (2013), the latter written and composed with his own involvement and produced within the local independent music scene. In 2021 he recorded a duet, “Giniyam Wu”, with veteran rock vocalist Chitral Somapala, which raised his profile further.
