Shivantha Fernando (ශිවන්ත ප්රනාන්දු) is a Sri Lankan singer and live performer, best known as a longtime vocalist of the popular band Marians. He has built a parallel following through his own YouTube channel, where he records covers, mashups, acoustic sets, and religious songs alongside his stage work.
Shivantha Fernando joined Marians, the Colombo band led by Nalin Perera, in 2004, and spent years as one of its featured vocalists on stages in Sri Lanka and across the diaspora. He came to singing after first studying keyboard and other instruments, developing a particular interest in Western music in his early twenties.
Away from the band, he is an active solo and collaborative artist. His repertoire ranges from baila and pop covers to acoustic mashups and devotional pieces, including Sinhala Christian hymns.
