Nadeemal Perera (නදීමාල් පෙරේරා, also spelled Nadheemal Perera) is a Sri Lankan pop singer and actor, best known for the 2018 single Nura Wasanthe (නුරා වසන්තේ), a YouTube hit that gathered tens of millions of views and established him as one of the more recognisable young voices in contemporary Sinhala pop.
He comes from a well-known musical family. He is the son of singer Amal Perera and grandson of the late musician Mervin Perera, and he began performing publicly as a teenager before stepping out under his own name.
Nadeemal Perera works mainly in Sinhala-language pop, a style that blends modern arrangements with traditional Sri Lankan instrumentation, sung in a tenor range.
