Jayantha Dissanayake (also spelled Jayantha Dissanayaka, ජයන්ත දිසානායක) is a Sri Lankan singer and composer of melodic Sinhala songs, known for gentle love songs and for cover versions of well known Sinhala numbers that circulate widely on streaming and download platforms.
Dissanayake works largely in the soft, romantic register of contemporary Sinhala popular song. He both performs and composes: the track Oba Inna Sinasee credits him as the composer as well as the vocalist, with lyrics by Lalith Wasantha. Alongside original material, he is recognised for recording cover versions of established songs, including his rendition of Sudu Rosai Muhuna Pura.
