Rohitha Rajapaksa (රෝහිත රාජපක්ෂ) is a Sri Lankan performer who records occasional Sinhala singles alongside his better-known life in sport and public affairs. Born in 1989, he is the youngest son of former Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the younger brother of Namal and Yoshitha Rajapaksa. His handful of releases, several of them family and event songs, circulate widely on Sri Lankan music platforms.
Rajapaksa is not a full-time recording artist, and his catalogue is small and personal rather than commercial. His most discussed track is “Mathakaida Aiye” (මතකයි ද අයියේ), released in 2019 as a surprise wedding tribute for his elder brother Namal. The song was produced within Sri Lanka’s contemporary pop scene and shared across local outlets as a present from one brother to another. He has also been associated with the singles “Lanwee,” “Ashawe,” and a music video for “Sihineka.”
Lyrics-lk hosts the Sinhala lyrics, transliteration, and English translation for several of his songs, including the self-written and self-composed Man Mula Wela (මං මුලා වෙලා):
