Rukshan Mark (රුක්ශාන් මාර්ක්) is a Sri Lankan contemporary pop and R&B singer who came up in the mid 2000s Sinhala music scene and is known to younger listeners for melodic love songs and remixes. His best known recordings include Adare and the romantic ballad Adare Matamai Kiya, often listed with the subtitle “Deneth Agin Kadulali”.
Rukshan Mark released his first albums in the second half of the 2000s, with collections such as Surangana (2006) and a self-titled set, followed by Brown Eyes (2010) and Ruki (2012). His style sits in the radio-friendly Sinhala pop and R&B current of that era, blending Sinhala lyrics with contemporary production. He remained active into the 2020s, putting out a run of singles and remixes including a remix of the much loved Gypsies hit Ojaye.
Beyond singing, Rukshan Mark has worked as a composer for other vocalists. He composed Guru Parata Sada Mora, performed by Nadini Premadasa, and Oya Ruwa, performed by Shihan Mihiranga.
