D-Son (also written D-SON) is a Sri Lankan singer and composer working in contemporary Sinhala pop. He is known on the local scene for a recurring collaboration with vocalist Indunil Rathnayaka, a partnership documented across Sri Lankan music platforms from the mid-2010s onward.
D-Son appears both as a performer and as a composer. His duet with Indunil Rathnayaka, “Mata Ahimi”, is among his most circulated tracks and is one of several joint releases (alongside titles such as “Nil Tharu” and “Mage Sihine”) that established the pairing within Sri Lanka’s mainstream Sinhala radio catalogue. As a composer he has also written music for other singers, including Lakith Shyaman, Tuan Saroof, and the duet by Lakmini Samarawickrama and Sidath Samarawickrama.
