Kasun Chamikara (කසුන් චමිකර, also written Kasun Chamikra) is a Sri Lankan singer working in contemporary Sinhala pop. He is known for romantic singles and teledrama theme songs, most prominently Adare Mathake Thiya, the theme of the serial Adare Suwanda Aran, which he recorded as a duet with Meena Prasadini.
Chamikara records melodic love songs that have circulated widely across Sri Lankan streaming and download platforms. His catalogue spans original singles and remakes released through the 2010s and into the 2020s, including Naa Kawruwath (2019) and Sanda Se Basa Noya (a 2021 remake), alongside the singles that established him with younger Sinhala pop listeners.
Several of his recordings are tied to television. Adare Mathake Thiya (ආදරේ මතකේ තියා), also indexed by its alternate title Adare Suwanda Aran, reached a broad audience as a drama theme and remains the song most associated with his name. The work shows the register he favours: gentle, sentimental melodies built around themes of love, memory, and longing.
Lyrics-lk presents these Kasun Chamikara songs in the original Sinhala script alongside English transliteration (Singlish) and translation, so listeners can follow both the sound and the meaning of each line.
