Umali Thilakarathne (also spelled Umali Thilakaratne), උමාලී තිලකරත්න, is a Sri Lankan actress and singer, born Irudini Umali Thilakaratne on 16 March 1987. Best known on screen, she is also a recurring duet vocalist whose collaborations with Saranga Disasekara account for several popular romantic recordings.
Thilakarathne began acting as a teenager, making her film debut in Rosa Wasanthe (2001), and went on to a wide career across cinema, teledrama, and stage in Sri Lanka and Japan. Her television work brought her the Best Actress award at both the Sumathi and Raigam Tele awards in 2017 for Bohimiyanuwa, a recognition she repeated in 2023.
As a vocalist, Umali Thilakaratne is heard mostly in duets. Her recordings with Saranga Disasekara, including the much-shared Adare Kathandare and Nupurudu Wu Adare, sit at the centre of her catalogue. She also features on Nohada Inna Mata, a track produced with Raj Thillaiyampalam.
