Samith Sirimanna (සමිත් සිරිමාන්න) is a contemporary Sri Lankan singer working in Sinhala pop. Based in Colombo, he built a following through the 2010s with melodic, emotionally direct singles that circulate widely on local music platforms.
Sirimanna emerged as part of the wave of independent Sinhala pop vocalists who reached listeners chiefly through radio and digital distribution rather than the older studio system. His songs pair accessible melodies with lyrics about love and longing, a register that has kept tracks like “Pin Madida Danne Na” and “Saba Adare” in steady rotation. Several of his recordings credit collaborators from the current Colombo scene, including composer Chamath Sangeeth and lyricist Chathura Warnasekara on “Saba Adare”.
