Dileepa Saranga (දිලීප සාරංග) is a Sri Lankan singer and songwriter known for a string of melodic Sinhala love songs released from the mid-2010s, including “Sansaraye Pura” and “Adarei Mage Panatath Wadaa”. He writes and composes much of his own material, and his songs lean on reflective, sometimes philosophical lyrics set to soft pop-ballad arrangements.
Saranga’s early single “Kandulaka Tharamak” (2016) gave him his first wide audience, and tracks such as “Sansaraye Pura”, “Wenwela Ai Oya” and “Sakura Mal” followed across streaming and download platforms like Hiru FM and song.lk. As a composer he is credited on a number of his own recordings rather than singing to outside music directors, which gives the catalogue a consistent, personal tone.
