Gayani Madhusha (also spelled Gayani Madusha, ගයනි මධුෂා) is a Sri Lankan playback and duet vocalist known for romantic singles and television theme songs recorded through the 2010s. Her best-known recording is “Anantha Sansare”, a duet with composer and singer Sanka Dineth released in 2012.
Gayani Madhusha built her catalogue mainly around love songs and tele-drama theme music, a path many Sri Lankan singers take to reach a broad television audience. She is credited as the female voice on several teledrama themes, including “Ma Dama” (the Pabalu Paalama theme) and “Ilandariyo”, the theme for Anuththara.
Among her widely shared singles are “Sitha Bindunu Da”, “Dikkasada Pembari”, and “Oya Hungak Wenas Wela”. Her duet work with Sanka Dineth on “Anantha Sansare” remains the recording most listeners associate with the name Gayani Madusha.
