Thisara Bandara is a Sri Lankan music composer and lyricist who works mainly behind the scenes of the contemporary Sinhala pop scene, writing and scoring songs for a range of singers rather than fronting them himself. He also performs on a handful of his own tracks.
Bandara is best recognised as a composer and songwriter. He has supplied the music and words for releases by several younger vocalists, which has kept his name attached to song credits more often than to the spotlight. On the songs where he sings, such as Eka Husmaka and Adare Sithuwam, he handles the composition and lyrics as well as the vocal.
His writing and production credits cross the work of artists hosted on Lyrics-lk. He wrote the words for Katawath Ba by Chamila Madushan and for Wasthuwe (Mage Jeewithe Mulu Lokaye) by Prageeth Vidanapathirana.
