Jayasiri Amarasekara (ජයසිරි අමරසේකර) is a Sri Lankan singer and music composer who works in popular Sinhala song. He is heard both as a vocalist and as the composer behind songs recorded by other artists, and several of his recordings remain in steady circulation on Sinhala streaming and lyrics platforms.
Amarasekara performs his own material and also composes for other singers. Among the songs he sings is As Deka Purama, which he both performs and composed. His best known recording as a vocalist is Sepalika Malai (සේපාලිකා මලයි), written by lyricist Channa Jayanath with music composed by Amarasekara himself.
As a composer he has provided melodies for a range of established playback singers. His compositions include Sandakata Thanam recorded by Namal Udugama, Sanda Nawath Kamak Nathe by Asanka Priyamantha Peiris, Paramitha Nopuramu Apa Dedena by Sashika Nisansala, and Sudu Araliya Mala by Ajith Muthukumarana.
