Chamika Sirimanna (චාමික සිරිමාන්න) is a Sri Lankan singer from Kalutara, born on 17 October 1980, known for a run of melodic Sinhala love songs released across the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s. He records mostly as a solo vocalist, and several of his singles have become familiar radio and YouTube favourites among Sinhala listeners at home and in the diaspora.
Sirimanna built his catalogue steadily rather than through a single breakout hit, releasing singles consistently from the mid-2000s onward. His 2006 song Samawela Mata Kiyanna is one of his earliest widely shared recordings, and he continued with tracks such as Api Wen Wena Tharamata in 2014 and a steady stream of releases through to recent years. A compilation, Best of Chamika Sirimanna, gathered his better-known work.
Much of his material sits in the Sinhala romantic and sentimental register: songs of longing, parting and devotion. Sanda Rajiniya (also written Sanda Rajiniye) is among his most recognised titles, and works like Mage Duppath As Deka and Oya Nisa show the same emotional, melody-led approach. He has also written and composed for some of his own recordings, including Yannepa Mathakayen Oya.
For each of these, this page presents the Sinhala lyrics alongside an English transliteration (Singlish) and translation, so a bilingual reader can follow both the sound and the meaning of Chamika Sirimanna’s songs.
