The very title, ma nubage, I am yours, turns painful once you realise he is still saying it to someone who has gone.

The middle is all sense-memory. In every breath, he says, the fragrance of her love-sighs still lingers, and alone inside that fragrance he feels how far away she now is. In every lonely moment his heart travels back and comes to rest right beside her, stopping on the road of memory to search once more for her face. She flew off into the distance, time blurred and carried the memories with it, and the playful dances and the words she once spoke have fallen buried and silent.

In the end he lives inside the dream.
