Asarana mage hitha rawatala ohuge loke oba raja wela...
Samada Man Obe Lyrics English Translation
Everything I ever did, day after day, for your happiness
came back to me like pain. Is this my fate?
In that world of ours, in the dream we wished for,
you alone held the first place in my world.
We walked along holding hands, only to part like this?
Why did you slip away from me like this?
You act as if you don’t know me, and I can’t believe it is really you.
You fooled my helpless heart, and now you reign as queen in his world.
If I wronged you without realizing it, then forgive me.
Why did you go close to someone else? You won’t tell me the reason.
I never loved you to deceive you, not for a single day.
You act as if you don’t know me, and I can’t believe it is really you.
You fooled my helpless heart, and now you reign as queen in his world.
How much I cried like a helpless child, only I know.
Even if we fight again, no matter, the sorrow is mine to keep.
I won’t wish on you the tears I carry, not even in the days to come.
You act as if you don’t know me, and I can’t believe it is really you.
You fooled my helpless heart, and now you reign as queen in his world.

Samada Man Obe Song Meaning and Interpretation
A young man has been left behind by the girl he loved, and worse than the leaving is the way she now looks straight through him as if they were strangers. He gave everything to make her happy, day after day, and all of it has come back to him as pain. The song opens with him asking the oldest question of heartbreak: is this just my fate? They had a shared world once, a dream they built together where she was the first and only thing that mattered to him. Now he is standing in the wreckage of it, asking how two people who walked hand in hand ended up torn apart.
The hardest part for him is not just that she has gone, but that she has gone to someone else. He calls her the queen of “his world” now, another man’s world, and that image stings the way it is meant to: the place she used to rule in his heart, she now rules in a stranger’s. He keeps circling back to disbelief, “I can’t believe it is really you,” because the person treating him like a stranger does not match the person he loved. He even offers to apologize for a wrong he doesn’t know he committed, anything to understand why she pulled away. That is the cruelty of betrayal here, he is left begging for a reason she will not give.
By the last verse the song turns quieter and more dignified. He admits he cried like a small, helpless child, and that no one saw it but him. He knows the sorrow is his to carry and he stops fighting it. The line that lands hardest is his blessing wrapped in a wound: he says he will never wish his tears on her, not even in the days ahead. After everything, he still cannot bring himself to want her to hurt. It is the ache of a love that ended badly but refuses to curdle into hate, and that quiet refusal to wish her ill is what makes the heartbreak feel real.
