He places her inside his own heart, calling her the playful little troublemaker who lives there and the mistress of his “house of dreams.” She didn’t walk into his life, she came in through his eyes, which is his sweet way of saying he fell the moment he looked at her.

The middle of the song is pure tenderness. He wants to kiss her rose petal lips, he wants to pull her close just for a moment, and there’s a lovely playful line where he says he’ll hold her until “those teasing eyes turn red,” the kind of gentle shyness and blushing that comes when someone you love holds you and you don’t quite know where to look.
