Kingsley Peiris (කිංස්ලි පීරිස්, also written Kingsly Peries) is a Sri Lankan playback and stage singer whose Sinhala recordings span devotional songs, light romantic numbers, and film playback. He is widely known for the devotional piece “Bellanwila Weherata Sudu Mal Puja Karanna” and for a steady catalogue of love songs that remain popular at weddings and on Sinhala radio.
Peiris built his reputation through a long run of single-artist recordings rather than group work, and his catalogue mixes Buddhist devotional songs with sentimental romantic ballads. Much of his best-known work was written by the lyricist Channa Jayanath, with music frequently arranged by the composer Jayasiri Amarasekara. Songs such as Dothin Aran Mal Kellan Mal and Waradata Samawa Denna come from that collaboration.
He has continued to release new material in recent years, including 2024 and 2025 singles, alongside earlier album work collected under titles such as Sithgath Komalee and Raththaran Kathawak.
