A young man lies awake through the night and his mind keeps drifting back to the girl he has fallen for. He calls these thoughts “rosa kalpana,” rose-colored daydreams, the kind of warm, glowing thinking that takes over when you are newly in love. In Sinhala, rose and the color pink carry that soft, romantic glow, so right away the song tells you this is tender, not heavy. He even wonders if she came floating to him in those dreams, searching for him, her gentle eyes fluttering. That single image sets the whole mood: he cannot tell anymore where her real presence ends and his longing begins.

The heart of the song is that repeated line, “I feel it, I feel it, I feel it, all because of her.” He is not describing love from the outside; he is sitting inside the feeling, almost overwhelmed by how strongly her presence reaches him. And he keeps coming back to one thought, that she is the very reason his love exists, the one who gives it its cause. When he says there is no longer any limit in saṃsāra, he is reaching for the deepest promise a Sri Lankan lover can make. Saṃsāra is the long chain of rebirths in Buddhist belief, life after life, and to say their love has no boundary in saṃsāra is to say it is not just for this lifetime but for every one to come.

From there the daydream grows. He sees her shape appear across the sky, near and far, and gently admits it is his own romantic vision, his mind painting her everywhere he looks. By the last verse the longing turns warmer and closer, “again and again, just as I wished, you came near me.” He compares what she gave him to “gimhane asha,” the longing of summer, that restless, sun-warmed wanting that comes with the season. He wants her rosy hands always, through every birth, and her image pours down into his mind like rain he cannot stop.

What you are left holding is the sweet, sleepless ache of new love, the stage where a person fills your every waking and dreaming hour. The song stays soft and hopeful the whole way through. There is no heartbreak here, only a young man so taken by one girl that he is ready to claim her, not just for tonight, but across every life he might ever live.
