I sit at a corner of the shore, watching,
fanned by the breeze on the path you come by.
Sitting at the spot where we once met before,
again we have met, only to part.
Among the foam of the waves breaking on the shore,
our story murmurs on, soft and low.
Though it slipped away elsewhere, unseen by the waves,
the white sand keeps murmuring our story.
The strength to ever quarrel with you
is gone, and my heart cries out without it.
Yet still, our love story has come to its end.
I take my leave today, with no anger left.

Werala Konaka Sita Bala Hindimi Song Meaning and Interpretation
A young man sits alone at the edge of the beach, in the same spot where he and the girl he loved once met. He has come back here, but not for a happy reunion. This time they have met only to say goodbye, and the whole song is that quiet, aching farewell, told while the sea moves in front of him.
The sea does a lot of the emotional work here. He waits on the path she walks down, with the wind off the water brushing past him, and as the waves roll in and break into foam, he feels their old love story murmuring along with them. It is a tender image: the place that held their happiest memory now whispers it back to him. He says the story has drifted away somewhere the waves can no longer see, in other words their love has quietly passed out of reach, and yet the white sand still keeps murmuring it. The shore remembers even when life has moved on, which is exactly how a person who is letting go really feels, the world around you holds the memory more stubbornly than you can bear.
The last verse is where it cuts deepest. He says he no longer even has the heart to quarrel with her. In a real relationship, arguing with someone is itself a sign you are still close enough to fight, still inside the bond. With that gone, his heart cries out at the emptiness of it. He is not angry, and that is the saddest part. He ends by taking his leave gently, with no bitterness, only the soft pain of a love that has reached its end on a quiet stretch of sand. It is the kind of goodbye that hurts more because it is so calm.
